a strong breeze = another water/fight poem

I want a good boat adventure.
I want a galley filled with vikings
but --
all they got is two women,
mid-thirties,
stuck on a mountain in Alaska:
                    that's me.

(You climb a mountain,
that's where you want to be.
If you want to be someplace else,
then you go to sea.)

Me? I want a boat adventure, an
old one, with a shipwreck, or a
castaway -- I miss Queequeg & I want
Jesus to walk on water; I want to
see Ninevah & I want to pit Grendel
against Shackleton and take odds.

One ocean was one ocean in a blue ocean, and I --
I took it,
And that has made all the difference.
